I’ve been told by my friends that one thing I will need for our new baby is lots of bedding.  Apparently little ones are known to have an accident or two in their beds and it’s best to be prepared.  With this in mind, I was very happy to find these awesome sheets by Caden Lane.  They’re made of 100% cotton and come in several beautiful colors - the perfect addition to any nursery, especially one that is the home to lots of accidents!

Looking for a changing table has been a challenging process.  I like the look of traditional tables but modern has a certain appeal as well.  Enter the Classic Cariboo Changing Table.  It is made of sustainable New Zealand Radiata wood. It has a simple design that would make it easy to use as a stand for toys or books when a changing table is no longer needed, which I like.  I also like that it’s finishes are lead-free and mattress is PBDE-free which make it safe for baby.

I’ve been looking at baby bedding for weeks now and while I’m still not sure of my final pick, I really like the look of this set.  The bright colors are cheerful and fun and the patterns are unique too.  But the best part is that it is made of 100% Certified Organic Cotton Sateen with a 220 thread count.  There’s something about the idea of using organic material with your sweet little one that is very appealing.

Doll

When we found out that we are having a boy, I began thinking about trucks and trains instead of barbies and makeup.  But no matter how hard I try, I can’t get past the idea that every child needs a doll.  It doesn’t have to be a traditional doll, of course (as I keep telling my husband) but still - every baby should have a sweet little doll to snuggle with and to carry around.  That’s when I found these dolls at Maple Grace.  Aren’t they adorable?  Oh yeah - and they’re 100% organic too!

Swaddle, Wrap or Blanket Your Baby

I think I have to have one of these.  There is something about the idea of swaddling a sweet little baby to make sure he’s comfortable and safe and I love that swaddling blankets are so stylish too.  These are made out of muslin which apparently gets softer with each wash.  They would be great as a stroller blanket or as sun protection when out and about too.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go place an order.

I know that my baby is currently in utero which means that it will be quite some time before he needs a lunch bag for school.  But that doesn’t keep me from wanting to buy one of these 100% cotton bags from Toby & Rei.  Seriously, how cute are they?  Maybe I could use it as a diaper bag?
